Creative Director
Garrett Mendez performs characters and writes jokes — occasionally at the same time.
He's popped up in places like Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (CW), Dr. Havoc's Diary (SYFY), and the cult favorite Most Popular Girls in School (YouTube). He's one of the leads in Addicted to You, a film available on Amazon Prime.
He has a tight five and an even tighter grip on the narrative that things are going great.
Creative Director
Most notably the Creative Director for Dirtybird Records from 2018-2023, Blakeshine has also designed experiential spaces for FUJIFILM, Benefit Cosmetics, Nova Han Productions, Red Bull Culture Clash, Amazon and has toured with immersive stages to Lightning in a Bottle, Coachella, Electric Forest, Desert Hearts, Dirtybird Campout and a myriad of other U.S events.
Blake is best known for her ability to curate surreal and thought-provoking spaces and in 2021 was named one of Time Out LA’s “Women Of The Year”.
Executive Producer
From SF to LA to NYC to Chicago. From hustling coffee as a PA in Tinseltown to co- founding 3FOR4 and producing original branded content for Nike, the NBA, Meta, Tinder, and Audible. Somewhere in there he became a documentarian and put together the producing team behind I Think It’s Going to Rain Today, about the one and only Randy Newman, now headed to theaters with Sony Pictures Classics. Dante's résumé also lists "animal impressions" as a skill…
He builds the room and then gets out of the way.
Music Director
SteevJ Brown made his mark producing underground electronic events before co-founding the International L-Dub Film Fest and helping grow it into a lasting creative platform. In Los Angeles, he expanded into film, ranging from the David Bowie documentary Moonage Daydream to an Insane Clown Posse tour doc. Steevj is a fixture in the immersive festival circuit at Dirtybird, Desert Hearts, and Lightning in a Bottle, where he’s performed, produced, and created interactive experiences like his offbeat game show Kat Fight.
Now that’s what I call NEW TECH.
Creative Producer
Anna Schumacher (aka River) is a creative producer and operations coordinator working across immersive experiences, festivals, and large-scale public events. She currently serves as the Center Camp Coordinator for Burning Man, leading and supporting the teams and collaborators who bring to life one of Black Rock City's largest public gathering spaces with interactive microenvironments, art installations, performances, and myriad workshops and shenanigans. As a co-founder of Collaborative Arts LA, the collective's work appeared everywhere from warehouses and living rooms to events in Sundance, SXSW, and Mexico, spanning immersive theater and large-scale art installations, clowning, live performance, and experiential marketing.
Lead Scenic
James “Huxley” Ragusa emerged from his youth on Fire Island, NY as a wanderlusting jazz musician; a proud vagabond and a lover of culture, experience, and wisdom. At the ripe age of 28 he came out of retirement to run away and join the circus as a fabricator and clown-adjacent tomfool, where he finally found the community of unrepentant freaks he was seeking by putting down some roots in Los Angeles. Huxley found his niche as a fabricator and art director with Big Expression, creating the playgrounds and containers for his silly comrades to reach the masses. He’s been along for the ride from the Forgotten Fort to Tonight’s Tavern and will always say YES to a stupid good time.
